NOURA JOST: CARA

NOURA has made the leap across New York Harbour with Bubby's Shadow and is thrilled to be part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival. Noura made her theatre debut with the production of The Ice Wolf  and  Sundog Theatre, Staten Island this past winter.   Last year, Noura filmed two movies, The Maltese Murder Mystery, which has been accepted into the Staten Island Film Festival, 2008, and Jukka, which is currently in post production. Noura is a member of the drama magnet program at her middle school and has been studying with Biz Kids under the direction of Peggy Lewis, located on Pier 40 in Manhattan. In addition to the credits listed, Noura is involved in the Staten Island OutLOUD series, and has participated in many workshops with various agents and casting directors throughout New York City. YURY LOMAKIN: ELI

YURY is two years out of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and is pounding the pavement to get his foot in the door of this hectic industry. He loves to act and hopes to be in film one day as well as theatre. Yury was recently seen in the Phareplay production of Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts. Most of all, he would like to thank everyone for coming to the show and supporting us.

 

*NATASHA MALINSKY: CHRISTINE

NATASHA is happy to be performing in the MITF and would like to thank the cast and crew for making it possible. She was most recently seen in the Off-Broadway premiere of WASPs in Bed (The Beckett Theatre). Other NY credits include I Am Not Breakfast (Epiphany Theater Company); Why We Have a Body (Apple Girl Productions); and Three Sisters (Rising Phoenix Theatre Company). Natasha has been seen regionally in Goodnight Desdemona (Big Dawg Productions); Taming of the Shrew and King Lear (Cape Fear Shakespeare). Film credits include Carver and Angel's Blade, starring Corbin Bernsen. Natasha's voice can be heard on Pokemon and Winx Club along with numerous television and radio commercials. ERIC PERCIVAL: JONNY

ERIC has performed on stages in New York, London, Holland, Germany, and throughout the US. New York credits include Joseph Campbell in Jean and Joe (BAX); Serenading Louie and Burn This (Stella Adler); The Homecoming (TSS); and Weekends at Club Ped (In the Fuse Festival at HERE). London credits include Twelfth Night (Greenwich Park with the Natural Perspectives Theatre Company); Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Romeo and Juliet, and The Changeling. Eric toured nationally in The Story of Anne Frank (National Theatre for the Performing Arts). Regional credits include Beautiful and Freakshow (SGTC). CAROLINE has taken on an assortment of roles in theatre and film. Theatrical credits include: Eating Mimi (Manhattan Rep); Chepachet, By the Sea, American Portraits, The Undefeated, and Curing Ron (The American Theatre of Actors: ATA); Measure for Measure (The Looking Glass Theatre); Prince Trevor Amongst the Elephants (Part of the 2005 Spotlight On Halloween Festival); the 12 Angriest Women (440 Studios); 12 Angrier Women (Chashama Studios); 12 Angry Women (The John Houseman Theatre); Anything for You (Don't Tell Mama); UTC #61's 24/7 Festival (The Tada Theatre); Radioactive Republicans & Dancing Democrats (Part of the 2004 Spotlight On Halloween Festival at The Greenwich Street Theatre). Nominated for a 2005 Spotlight On Award for Best One-Person Performance. She attended Fordham University and The Lee Strasburg Theater Institute, where she studied various aspects of Performing Arts.

 

STEWART SCHNECK: NORMAN

STEWART last appeared as Papa Jocka in The Last Jew in Europe. Recent roles include: Harry/Peter in Tales of an Urban Burb (12 Miles West Theater Company); Herb in Woody and the Heeb (Manhattan Rep); Jerry in the rock opera Soul Searching and Ira Zimmer in Brooklyn Boy. Stewart also created the role of Rabbi Conrad Singer in the interactive wedding experience, A Match Made in Manhattan . Other stage credits: Marryin Sam in Li'l Abner; Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof; Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie; Mr. MacMillian in Big-The Musical;
Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz; Bottom in A Midsummer's Night Dream. Stew's commercial work includes spots for "Dick's Sporting Goods", "Time Warner Cable", and "Maimonides Medical Center". Film Credits: American Gangster; How to Seduce Beautiful Women; Fans Anonymous. TV: "30 Rock"; "The Prisoner"; "KINGS"; "Law & Order". A graduate of Ithaca College, Stewart began his New York theatrical career with the Circle Repertory Company. Working on the original productions of Lanford Wilson's The Fifth of July and Tally's Folly. He then went on to The Public Theater, The Manhattan Theater Club and The American Jewish Theater. In his spare time Mr. Schneck attempts to hold down a regular job as a life insurance sales executive. RANDI SOBOL: BUBBY/FAY

RANDI has played Shakespeare, Strindberg and Simon at theaters from Biloxi to Boston, where she also spent some time as a saloon singer. She has acted at La MaMa, the Mint and the Cocteau, and toured with Spring Sirkin's Chamber Rep. She most recently played Rebecca in The Food Monologues for Emerging Artists Theatre’s EATfest. Other recent roles include Prospera in The Tempest, Viviane in Avalon (both at the Looking Glass); Maria in Twelfth Night, Nurse in Romeo and Juliet (both at Shakespeare in the Garden); Veta in Harvey, Flora in 27 Wagons Full of Cotton (both for FHB). A graduate of New York's Performing Arts High School (aka LaGuardia High), Randi is glad to be performing again after doing time in the real world, and thrilled to be a part of Andrew Rothkin’s wonderful play.
