Production Staff of Bubby's Shadow
ANDREW ROTHKIN: PLAYWRIGHT & PRODUCER

ANDREW began acting 20+ years ago and has since gone on to wear most every hat in the theater including writer, director, producer, designer and Artistic Director of White Rabbit Theatre. Favorite fully staged works as playwright include Danny (White Rabbit Theatre), Paved with Gold (Ellis Island/The Hypothetical Theatre Company), A Day at the Fair… (commissioned by the Queens Museum ), Voice (The Strawberry One-Act Festival) and the award-winning tryin' t' touch the sun (White Rabbit Theatre/FHB Productions/Spotlight On). Numerous readings include Strangers on Hallow Hill , Alice on the Edge and the horror screenplay All for Sarah. Bubby's Shadow was initially written as part of Prophecy Productions' 2007 Writers Lab, leading to a January 2008 reading of an early draft, semi-staged by Glory Sims Bowen. Andrew has taught playwriting, poetry, creative writing, essay writing (as well as acting, improv, theatre games, etc.) to many hundreds of students through his work as teacher and artist-in-residence, working with students' pre-K through college throughout Maryland , New York and New Jersey . He has numerous other pieces in development, and is currently most excited about his newest one--act, Meredith's Ring, and the preliminary stages for his first (completed) musical. RAMONA PULA: DIRECTOR & PRODUCER

RAMONA has produced and directed many theatre productions, mostly in Baltimore, Maryland, including at Theatre Project; Pumpkin Theatre; Maryland Arts Festival (AD); Ye Merrie Masquers (College of Notre Dame); NWSA (National Women's Studies Association annual conference); and Polonium Theatre Company, of which she was also artistic director for three years. Additionally, she was Publicity Director for Action Theatre Company during its inaugural season, and has worked as an actor with various companies in Baltimore. In New York she has worked at La Mama ETC (as an actor), and with White Rabbit Theatre, in conjunction with Spotlight On Productions (as an actor, assistant director and co-producer). She has studied acting with The Barrow Group, and producing with the Commercial Theater Institute, a project of Theatre Development Fund (TDF) and The Broadway League, Inc. Ramona has created a formal production company, Mo Pula Productions, which is a new entity dedicated to producing original work by New York artists, including but not limited to plays, music compositions and dance. Bubby's Shadow marks the first project under the auspices of this company. Currently in pre-production for Witkacy's The Beelzebub Sonata for which an original composition is being created by Clint Edwards. Ramona graduated from Towson University, in Maryland, with a BA in Theatre Arts.Thanks to Andrew Rothkin for writing such a beautiful play and for providing this wonderful opportunity for so many people!
KRISTA SAURBBI: STAGE MANAGER

KRISTA is very proud to have the opportunity to stage manage Bubby's Shadow in this year's Midtown International Theatre Festival. Her stage management credit stems as far back to her debut in 1999 with the production of Wake Up, Alan!, by Timothy Graphenreed. Krista continued to stage manage as an intern with The Wynner's Circle Theatre Company on numerous productions, some of them being, Genesis, The Quiet Room, or What Happens When A Schizoid Ballerina Is Locked in A Room With A Duck (a production participant of the Spotlight On Festival) and Seascape with Sharks and Dancer (also a part of the Spotlight On Festival). She has also had the privilege to take those shows across the boarder to the Winnipeg and Edmonton Fringe Festivals. For the last 3 years, Krista has been a student at Penn State University, pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Art in Stage Management. While at Penn State she has also stage managed several productions such as I Hate Hamlet and The Shape of Things in 2005 followed by Company this past fall. She looks forward to her graduation in Spring of 2009.
AMADA ANDERSON: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, WEBSITE DESIGNER, HOUSE MANAGER

AMADA is New to NY from Miami , Florida and is very grateful and excited to be working with Bubby's Shadow . Her NY Credits include working as assistant stage manager/running crew for The Marathon (The Ensemble Studio Theatre) & Stage Manager of Torrents (The Barracuda Theatre Club). She was recently seen in Ft. Lauderdale in Real Women Have Curves playing the role of Pancha (The Women's Theatre Project) and in Combing Through life's Tangles playing the role of Delores (Cinema Paradiso). Her favorite credits include being Dotty Otley in Noises Off , The Reverend Mother in Nunsense & Mushagah-Nuns, Domina/Pseudolous Understudy in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and Dominique du Monico in the musical Lucky Stiff. Amada holds a B.A. in Music with a double major in Theatre from the University of Miami and is a karaoke host with Boogie Man George Entertainment. For more info: www.amadaanderson.com. ISABELLE FIELDS: COSTUME DESIGNER
ISABELLE just finished her first year with Barbara Matera's Costume Shop and received the award for best costume design this past summer in the Midtown International Theatre Festival. She is happy to be back with the festival working on Bubby's Shadow. New York City credits include: Hiroshima: Crucible of Light (Walker Street Theatre); The Sons of Molly Maguire (Workshop Theatre Company) (Midtown Theatre Festival); The Good Thief (Access Theatre); The Mountain Hotel, (Brick Theatre); Intellectuals (Workshop Theatre Company), one season (City Ballet Costume Shop) and assistant work on A Mother, A Daughter, and A Gun (Dodger Stages). Isabelle graduated with a BFA in Costume Design from De Paul University Theatre School.
ALAN KANEVSKY: SOUND DESIGNER
ALAN has worked with MITF, Spotlight On, NY Fringe, Sage Theater, Fresh Fuit, Ionesco, Neuro and Fridgid festivals as well as other independant producers throughout NY. He's the former TD for Where Eagles Dare Theater and was co-founder/resident director of La Muse Venale Acting Troupe. Currently Mr. Kanevsky is CFO and co-founder of The Actors Legacy Group. YVEYI: SET DESIGNER
YVEYI is happy to be working with the Bubby's Shadow production team for MITF. Her recent credits include set designer for Intimate Apparel & The Laramie Project (Purchase Repertory Theater). She also participated in making films as a production designer and produced short films of her own. Yveyi also works as a make-up artist for actors, opera singers and dancers.
DUANE PAGANO: LIGHTING DESIGNER
DUANE most recently designed the lighting for WorkShop Theater Company's A Crazy Little Thing Called Love, a performance of five short plays about love lost, found, risked and rewarded. He also worked the Tribeca Film Festival this year. Other New York credits include: French Kisses II (Workshop Theater Company); Addicted to Christmas (Greg Miller Productions); and Uncle Tom, Uncle Ben, Uncle Sam and the Rest of the Family (Asteroidb612 Theatre). Chicago credits include Fahrenheit 451 with Ray Bradbury (Bailiwick Theatre). Duane holds multiple degrees including a BS in Film Production and a BA in Theatre Design from University of Miami, Florida; and an MFA in Lighting Design from University of Missouri, Kansas City. He is also a founding member of the theatre group greasy joan & co.
ANNA UMANSKY: PROP MASTER, PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

ANNA is thrilled to be part of the Bubby's Shadow production team. Her recent credits include assistant directing and designing The Winters Tale and designing Tales of Common Insanity at New York University's College of Arts and Sciences. As well as being a production assistant at Here Art Center's 2008 Cultremart Festival. She is currently pursuing a degree in Dramatic Literature and Fine Art History at New York University. Upon graduating in the Spring of 2009, she hopes to travel the world and continue her career in the theatre, designing and directing.
